| OUR STORY In 1998, Mia Camacho-Fitzgerald moved to the quaint town of Pound Ridge, New York – Population 5,000. Sensitive to the combination of harsh well water and commercial soaps, her skin became extremely dry and itchy. After years of trying dozens of different soaps, she took a class to make her own. A love for soap making and aromatherapy, Mia made over 500 bars, using natural ingredients shea butter, olive oil, jojoba oil, chamomile, lavender, vanilla, almond, parsley and oats, giving her soaps to friends and co-workers, who loved the soap and offered to pay for additional bars. Working on a hunch, Mia formed Clean Ridge Soap Company, LLC in 2004, launching with 12 bar soaps, 5 liquid soaps and 30 baskets. The first holiday season was a success, with over 300 baskets sold. Today, Clean Ridge products are sold throughout the USA. There are over 120 products including lip balms, lotions, diffusers and candles. Products are all natural, using the finest ingredients, such as avocado butter, jojoba and olive oils. Essential oils of geranium, lavender, lemon, lime, peppermint and rosemary. Ground vanilla beans, almonds, oats, annatto seeds, sandalwood powder, ultramarine oxides and parsley for colorants. Clean Ridge offers gift wrapping and well as individually printed gift notes nestled in a matching envelope. All products are made by hand and packaged in the USA.
